Apex Owner Lauren Fink is staying in leadership and sales at the Hillsdale shop.

Apex recently painted our high ceiling and walls in the living room. Heather and Thunder were meticulous with taping, patching a couple of areas on the walls, stain blocking a few high ceiling areas, painting and clean up. The cathedral ceiling and high walls did not make for an easy job, but they taped the eight ceiling beams with care, and carefully covered large furniture. From start to finish we had contact with Justin, Lauren, Cathy, Heather and Thunder and all of them strive to provide good customer service. We are pleased with their work. I recommend getting an estimate from them for any painting projects you may be thinking of doing.

Lauren actually provided the estimate, and given that it was very reasonable for the amount of work required, I went with the quote. From the quote visits with Brad, deposit payments at the office, to the days of execution everyone was courteous, professional and friendly. Blake did the pressure washing and called in the morning giving me an eta he met. He walked with me around the premises to ensure he completed the task at hand. The next two days of painting involved headman Anthony and his crew Donte and Elijah. I cannot say enough good things about these three men. Their work was top notch and I was impressed with the extent of their prep work before painting to ensure nothing was painted that shouldn’t be. Painted our entire interior and exterior in August 2019. The job was flawless and the company and project manager made everything so painless! They let us know exactly when they were working on what areas, so that we could plan accordingly. They helped us to move all big pieces and their goal was to interrupt our lives minimally given we were living in the house while being painted. I had MacFarland paint my kitchen cabinets the week of Jan15 2024 . My wife and I were extremely happy with the outcome . They delivered me a new looking kitchen in 4 days. The young men that did the work were great came on time and if they were running late they would text me to let me know . Louis and his coworker (Justin? sorry! terrible with names) did an awesome job. They painted my house early this spring and I've since experienced peeling on the wood trim around the house due to poor adhesion from the old paint to the wood. They came back out in the fall at no charge to scrape off any peeling areas and re-painted with higher quality paint each entire board that had issues for continuity. When I thanked them for coming back out, he insisted that they aren't happy until I'm happy. He was very professional and personable - took me on three walk-arounds of the house first for me to point out issues, then to show his progress, and finally to show the end result. The office was very responsive and prompt as well. I'm so happy MacFarland stands behind their work and ensures a quality job.

It wasn't an easy task, it involved removing old stubborn wallpaper from the 1960's, skim coating the walls, and then painting. But, Apex made it all look like childs play. Recently I had MacFarland paint three rooms, halls, ceilings and do some plaster repairs. Their team of four under Jerry were very professional. They arrived early, worked efficiently, responded promptly to questions, and completed the job ahead of time. It looks terrific and the plaster repairs are invisible.
